I haven't been exposed to real persimmons, so i don't know what the smell of persimmons is like. But the fragrance of this soap is very fresh and pleasant. This is the true fruit aroma. I guess this fruity aroma is exactly the scent of persimmons. I am 65 years old this year. I have never used soap that smells so good before. It reduces my "mature skin elderly odor" and leaves the skin feeling squeaky clean!if you are an elderly person who doesn't want to be disliked by your grandchildren, this soap will be helpful. Lol!
